For this weekend the Macanese rising star Rodolfo Avila will take to the track in the International Formula Master (IFM) in a circuit steeped in tradition. He is hoping better luck for Brands Hatch Circuit race in England.

The Brands Hatch meeting will be the beginning of the championship end. After the races in Great Britain, the fight for the championship continues in Monza for the season finale. Avila has two more round to show again an upfront fast pace but the Macau SAR backup driver needs fortune now.

“I saw two engines blowing up in Germany and I had a fuel pressure problem during the test day at Monza. That’s enough! We will “cross the fingers” to have a clear race now”, said the driver supported by Macau Government, Macau-slot.com, BNU, CESLAsia, PAL AsiaConsult, TsingTao, Fat Siu Lau Restaurant, Sujika Crafts and PT Asia.

He adds: “I’m looking forward to Brands more than usual as it’s the first track I will be going to for the second time. Now I have the chance to show what I can do with some experience and track knowledge to help me. This is not an easy place to overtake so qualifying will be very important. I'm not making any predictions as you just never know, but my aim will be to avoid any silly incidents and score well.”

IFM’s next rounds, 13 and 14, will take place at Brands Hatch, United Kingdom on 22 and 23 September 2007 with TV coverage on Eurosport World, Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2. Live streaming will be available on www.eurosport.com and www.formulamaster.net
