Iveco has supplied a Stralis Active Space Super³ (AS440S50T/P) 4x2 tractor unit to Fiorano Ferrari – an exclusive owners programme managed by Ferrari GB.

This vehicle, which was displayed on Iveco’s stand at the CV Show, benefits from the Stralis AS Super³’s already high standard specification, making it perfectly suited for operation by one of the world’s most prestigious car manufacturers.  It is being delivered to Ferrari GB as part of Iveco’s official role as a technical supplier to Ferrari, a fellow Fiat Group company.

It will be used in conjunction with a specialist 13.6m trailer to transport the only fleet of Ferrari F430 road cars and race-prepared 360 Challenge cars outside Italy.  This high-value fleet will be used at racing circuits across the UK and Europe, with Fiorano Ferrari members enjoying one-to-one professional coaching from experienced Ferrari instructors.

This Stralis is powered by a 12.88 litre Cursor 13 engine, delivering up to 500 hp between 1,525 and 1,900 rev/min and a maximum 2,300 Nm of torque between 1,000 and 1,525 rev/min.

Keys to the new vehicle were officially presented by Henk van Leuven, Managing Director of Iveco UK to Massimo Fedeli, Managing Director of Ferrari GB, and Enrico Bertaggia, Ferrari GB Motorsport Director during the CV Show.
