Toyo Tires Proxes ST II High Performance Tire for SUVs, Sport Trucks and Crossovers

Toyo Tire introduces the all-new Toyo Proxes ST II high performance tire for SUVs, sport trucks and select crossovers. The fresh design and advanced tread elements of the Proxes ST II deliver the perfect balance of style and performance with a luxurious image. Confident, all-season performance takes handling to a new level.

Advanced computer design technology and all-new construction combine to deliver consistent wear throughout the life of the tire along with an unparalleled reduction in both new and worn noise. A broad range of sizes fit original equipment and custom wheels, 16- to 26-inches in rim diameter. This replaces the Toyo Proxes S/T, which has been one of the leading sport truck tires since its debut in 1998.

Toyo is supporting the launch of Proxes ST II with the largest television commitment ever for the company. Part of the national marketing campaign, a brand-new 30-second commercial will debut during primetime June 22, on the CBS-hit Cold Case. It will run again June 23, during CBS's CSI: Miami. Reaching more than 100 million households this summer the commercial will run on network and cable stations including Fox Sports, ESPN, Discovery and History Channel.

"The Proxes ST II, and the advertising campaign surrounding its introduction, target image-conscious, affluent consumers who customize their high-end vehicles," said Steve Weinger, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. "As a leader in the sport truck tire market, we offer them a premium product with the quality and performance expected from Toyo."

Print ads featuring the entire Proxes family of products will also run June 1, through August in automotive and lifestyle magazines such as Automobile, Motor Trend, The Robb Report Collection, Sport Truck and DUB. In dealerships across the country the Proxes ST II will be featured on Point-of-Purchase materials including posters, counter mats and tire inserts.

Toyo has been selected "#1 Overall Brand" in Tire Review Magazine's annual Tire Brand Study of North American tire dealers seven out of the past eight years for consumer products (passenger, performance and light truck/SUV) and four of the last six years for commercial products (medium truck).

The Toyo Proxes ST II is available June 1, from authorized Toyo Tires dealers across the United States.
