Compared Insurance will release a new software program designed to evaluate commercial-insurance proposals in February.

A patent pending industry-first insurance-comparison system, CompariSys recently underwent a series of successful beta-tests with insurance-industry thought leaders. Compared Insurance, a business-to-business company focused on simplifying the purchase of property and casualty insurance, will officially launch on February 1, 2008.

"CompariSys simplifies the process of buying insurance by comparing the various proposals that a business owner must sift through before making a final purchase decision," says Justin Engel, the company's president.

Compared Insurance was founded in 2007 by a group of four property-and- casualty insurance executives with an average of 25-years of industry experience. In addition to Justin Engel, the firm's management team includes Joe Coulter and Bob Ashton, both with Coulter Consulting, an insurance consultancy in Overland Park, Kan., and Bob Maeyama, a senior underwriter based in Dallas, Texas.

Prior to forming Compared Insurance in September 2007, Engel was a managing member at High Octane Services LLC, a commercial insurance consulting firm in Reno, Nevada.
