Škoda has come third in the latest Auto Express dealer survey.  Over 30,000 drivers submitted their views on around 6,000 garages nationwide and despite some tough competition Skoda finished on the podium.

Last year Škoda placed in a respectable fifth, but this time round the 133-strong dealer network impressed visitors even more.  ‘Cleanliness and atmosphere’, ‘technical knowledge’ and ‘standard of workmanship’ were three of the areas in which customers thought Skoda dealers excelled.

An example of the comments submitted by respondents comes from Nigel Tolley of Kidderminster, Worcestershire: “After buying three new cars from my local dealer, I am on first-name terms with all the team, and can always be confident of excellent service.”

Auto Express, Britain’s biggest selling car news weekly, said: “… they (Škoda dealers) have achieved some great results and climb two places up the dealer chart this year.  Particular highlights for Skoda come in the value-for-money and overall dealer performance categories…”

Škoda UK’s Managing Director, Chris Craft, was delighted by the achievement. “We strive to offer our customers a friendly and warm reception every time they enter a showroom.  This survey shows how good a job our dealers are doing and that we really are the manufacturer of happy drivers.”
