Limited edition Corvette and latest Cadillac range at Motorexpo

A host of vehicles from the famous American car brands Cadillac and Corvette will be appearing at this year’s Motorexpo, which runs from June 11 to 17 at London’s Canary Wharf. The free–to-enter motor show will feature the highly exclusive Corvette Z06 ‘Ron Fellows edition’, as well as the right-hand drive Cadillac SRX and BLS models, and the left-hand drive Cadillac Escalade.

Gracing the 12 th Motorexpo will be one of the UK’s most sought after supercars, the Corvette Z06 ‘Ron Fellows edition’. The strictly limited edition left-hand drive coupe has been introduced to mark the Canadian racer’s contribution to the success of the Corvette racing programme since its creation in 1999. The model that bears Fellows’ name is based on the Corvette Z06, boasting the LS7 V8 engine matched to a six-speed gearbox. In first gear, the Z06 delivers a 0-60 mph performance of 3.8 seconds and the car has a top speed of 199 mph.

The Corvette Z06 ‘Ron Fellows edition’ is only available in Arctic White and features unique interior and exterior details, such as Fellows’ autograph, a full-width racing-type rear spoiler and polished 10-spoke aluminium wheels. Just 33 cars have been allocated to Europe, each priced at £69,197.

Two right-hand drive Cadillacs will also be on show. The seven-seat Cadillac SRX combines the sporty exterior and driving dynamics of a luxury estate car with the all-wheel drive and interior space of a sport utility vehicle. The highly sophisticated chassis management and vehicle control systems include the latest four-channel StabiliTrak active suspension control and a segment-first Magnetic Ride Control, which uses electronically controlled magnetic-fluid-based real-time damping to create the world's fastest reacting suspension control system. Priced from £28,097, the SRX is available with a choice of either a 3.6-litre V6 or a 4.6-litre V8 Northstar engine.

Accompanying the SRX will be the Cadillac BLS executive saloon, designed and manufactured in Europe, specifically for the requirements of European drivers. The front-wheel drive car features a chassis tuned for agility and driver enjoyment. Priced from £20,755, the BLS is available with a choice of an advanced common-rail diesel and three petrol engines.

Also on display at Canary Wharf will be the distinctive Cadillac Escalade. This left-hand drive model features a 6.2-litre aluminium V8 engine, an efficient six-speed automatic transmission, a feature-packed spacious interior, distinctive Cadillac exterior styling and an immensely capable all-wheel drive system. The Cadillac Escalade is priced from £46,997.
