The new Lamborghini supercar, the Reventón, has been named the World’s Most Beautiful Automobile 2007 in the special models category, of the award “L’Automobile più Bella del Mondo” (The Word’s most Beautiful Automobile). The Reventón was presented for the first time ever at the recent 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show.

The decision was announced by an international panel chaired by Italian visual arts critic Bruno Alfieri. Members of the panel were well-known international representatives of the automotive and design industries. The panel met on November 8 at Castello Sforzesco in Milan, Italy.

Only 20 Lamborghini Reventón road cars will be produced, each priced at 1 million euro plus taxes. All cars are already sold. The judges selected the Reventón for its extreme, consistent, sharp-edged styling inspired by modern aeronautics, all features that make it a true work of art.
