The Corvette hallmark, dual cockpit design theme, is further enhanced in the interior styling of the latest Corvette models for 2008. A new Custom Leather-Wrapped Interior Package offers a stylish, two-tone leather-appointed cabin with details that further enhance the feeling of Corvette craftsmanship.

Details include a two-tone, leather-wrapped upper and lower instrument panel, door pads and seats, along with a choice of new, exclusive colours: Linen or Sienna, with unique colour break-up. Padded door panel armrests, ‘Corvette’ embroidered on passenger-side dash pad, embroidered crossed flags logo on headrests and a unique centre trim plate with Bias pattern all add to the unique ambience of the latest Corvette models.

All models feature a new wrapped instrument panel centre trim plate, with bright surrounds for the shifter and cupholder. There are also new metal-finish door sill plates that greet occupants as they step into the vehicle, as well as a new lighted control knob for the available Magnetic Selective Ride Control. Other refinements include a new keyless access fob, which features the key and remote-function controls integrated in a single unit.

These sophisticated contours and rich, soft leather surfaces are combined with high-technology features which have made Corvette a leader. GM’s Keyless Access with Push Button Start technology allows access by detecting the proximity of the key fob. The system both unlocks the doors and allows it to be started. An AM/FM radio with CD player and MP3 capability is standard. New technology enhances conventional radio reception despite the antenna being completely concealed within the windshield glass. Optional features include a DVD-navigation system with voice touch screen and guidance.

A menu-selectable head-up display can be projected onto the windshield in the line of sight on the road ahead, allowing the driver to focus on driving while still being able to monitor vehicle speed and other critical vehicle information.
There are two settings: Street and Track; each setting is pre-programmed to display information, including g-forces, that is relevant for each respective – and very different – situation.

The Convertible is equipped with a luxury package: memory package, heated seats, head-up display, power telescoping steering column, 7 premium Bose speakers and auto dimming rear view mirrors.
