Julie Evetts joins Škoda as head of aftersales

24 luglio 2008

Having recently hired Robert Hazelwood as Brand Director, Škoda’s senior management team has had another boost with the appointment of Julie Evetts as Head of Aftersales.

Julie will be taking over from Chris Daniell who is retiring this summer after 34 happy years with the brand.

Julie has spent the past ten years at Volkswagen Group where she has held a number of senior roles in all areas of business from retail and brand management to fleet sales and customer service.

She started her time with the Group at the Volkswagen brand and then the Audi brand before moving into Group services from where she is joining Škoda today.

Julie’s love affair with the motoring industry started 15 years ago when she left the aerospace sector for a job at Ford Motor Company

Today, her vast industry experience varies from developing retailer networks and improving network performance to influencing franchising decisions and developing group strategy.

Julie comments on her appointment: “I am delighted to be joining Škoda at this exciting time. The brand has been going from strength to strength and I will be tasked with helping achieve its full growth potential.

“One of my key responsibilities will be to ensure that, as Škoda moves into the mainstream, its human touch and everything customer love about it today remain at the heart of the business.”

“Škoda has been topping customer satisfaction surveys for years, an achievement attributed to the outstanding quality of its cars but also to the dedication of its retailers.

“I look forward to working closely with the retailer network to help inspire its further expansion by offering retailers the support and tools required to make that transition.”

As well as enjoying cars, Julie is passionate about working with people and believes that happy teams lie at the heart of successful businesses.

When she is not thinking about work, Julie takes every opportunity to spend time with her two sons, aged two and seven, pursuing the family’s love of sports.
