Nissan new Cabstar wins first Award

Just weeks after going on sale, and following its UK debut at the Commercial Vehicle Show, the new Nissan Cabstar has been voted “ultra light Truck” at the Professional Van and Light Truck Awards 2007.
Cabstar was judged to be the best in class for its incredible value proposition made from a mix of high load capacity, best in class manoeuvrability and improved cabin space for driver and passenger comfort.
The judges commented, “This steady and reliable little workhorse benefited greatly from a new and larger cab last year to ensure that it stayed at the top of the shopping lists of those seeking a hard working ultra light truck.”
The award was accepted by Eric Noziere, General Manager Corporate Planning, at the global LCV Business Unit, who said: “I am delighted to accept the first award for the New Cabstar. It is the first vehicle to be built on the global LCV platform which will be used to develop all Nissan future light trucks.”
