The new look Bmw motor show experience

25 febbraio 2008

BMW has created a new look stand for this year’s Melbourne motor show which will be highly engaging to potential buyers and admirers of the Bavarian brand.
Utilising fresh and modern new materials, a new layout, and more experiential design, the BMW stand aims to deliver a highly engaging experience for visitors.

Three oversized interactive pods take centre stage, giving visitors the chance to explore and learn about BMW EfficientDynamics as well as various ‘Fascination’ stories, which are also embedded throughout the stand.

“The new stand will bring to life the world of BMW,” said Tom Noble, General Manager Marketing, BMW Group Australia.

“Rather than replicating a dealership environment, we wanted to create a more experiential environment for visitors.

“We have taken a new approach to motor shows which will allow visitors the opportunity to learn more about BMW and our products,” he said.

BMW will also use this year’s Melbourne motor show for the Australian premieres of the new 1 Series Convertible and X6 Sports Activity Coupé. The new 1 Series Coupé will celebrate its Melbourne debut, before official customer deliveries begin late in May.

The main theme of this year’s BMW stand is EfficientDynamics, whereby visitors will have the chance to learn about the company’s efforts today, tomorrow and into the future with respect to reducing fuel consumption and C02 emissions.

Other areas of interest are also included in the experiential nature of the stand with topics like: The Green Hell, Tackling Nature, Ostrich Feathers, Art Cars, Independence, Racing Heritage and, The Innovator.

The BMW stand will also boast a newly designed large and modern hospitality area.

The Melbourne motor show will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 29 February – 10 March 2008.
