Controversy makes F1 exciting says David Coulthard

The Scot, who drives for Red Bull, suggested to the Spanish newspaper Diario As that he thinks Lewis Hamilton was lucky to escape a stewards' sanction for erratic driving in the recent Japanese grand prix.
Asked if the popular British rookie had received a favourable decision, Coulthard said: "Yes, he probably did.
"But it's the same as referees in football. Sometimes we disagree with their decisions but you have to accept it.
"That is why this sport is so interesting; because we are constantly discussing what is right and what is wrong.
"But, in the end, we have come to Sao Paulo with three drivers fighting for the title and that is great news for everyone."
Coulthard reveals that, for example, he strongly disagreed with the FIA's decision to leave Hamilton and Fernando Alonso in the drivers' championship despite their team being found guilty of cheating.
"It is true that neither of them were responsible, but they were driving the car of a guilty team. The driver cannot be separated from their team," he said.
