Fisi, Pizzonia, unite in GP2

07 dicembre 2006

Two familiar F1 names will unite in the championship's feeder category, GP2, next year.

'FMS', which is Renault driver Giancarlo Fisichella and manager Enrico Zanarini's junior team, has signed up ex-Jaguar and Williams pilot Antonio Pizzonia to drive the series' new car in 2007.

The new GP2 car was unveiled in Monaco on Wednesday.

"I want to return to F1 as soon as I can, which is why I accepted the challenge," Brazilian Pizzonia, 26, said yesterday.

Pizzonia raced twenty times in F1 between 2003 and 2005, scoring eight points.
