Andretti Green Racing Race Reports - Texas

08 giugno 2008

Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I am frustrated that we did not stay up front the entire race.  My car was really loose most of the race, so that made it difficult to drive in traffic.  The Motorola crew is working really hard and I appreciate their efforts."

Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The 7-Eleven car was decent tonight, but at one point something broke in the back.  I think it may have been a rear bar, and I was all over the place.  I did everything I could to stay out of the way and out of trouble.  I had no control of my car.  It was probably the worst race this year for me, but we had a top-five finish.  I have to think my crew; they are working really hard this year."

Marco Andretti, #26 Blockbuster Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I really feel bad for the whole Blockbuster crew.  We were running so well, as was Ryan (Hunter-Reay).  I feel kind of bad for both of us but the fact is, there are some guys you can run close with and some guys you can't.  He clearly hit the white line and that is that.  We ran well today, but to me, that doesn't matter.  We need to bring home results. It's very disappointing."

Hideki Mutoh, #27 Formula Dream Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"It would have been great if the Formula Dream team was able to finish in the top five. If the last yellow wouldn't have come out I think we could have finished in the top three. I was trying to save fuel, so I was sure we were not going to have to pit again. It was a bit frustrating, but that racing. I learned so much this weekend, and I feel more comfortable in traffic after this weekend. All-in-all, I enjoyed the race very much and looking forward the race in Iowa."
