Andretti Green Racing Pre-Race Reports-Chicagoland

03 settembre 2008

Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The PEAK Indy 300 this weekend is about one thing for me and that is winning. There is no reason we can't put together a good overall weekend and keep the Motorola car up front all day on Sunday.  I would love to finish the season on a high note not only for me but for my crew."

Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The Team 7-Eleven guys have always come close at Chicago but we still don't have a win to show for our efforts.  We've been very competitive on mile-and-a-half ovals this year, even being the car to beat at Homestead.  It would be great to end the season with a victory."

Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I'm looking forward to the Chicago race because it is a chance for the NYSE boys to end the season on a positive note.  We've hit some bumps in the road lately but we have had very good cars at the 1.5-mile ovals this year.  We're trying to get to sixth in the championship and a win would do a lot to get us there."

Hideki Mutoh, #27 Formula Dream Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I cannot believe it's already been a year since my very first IndyCar Series race at Chicagoland Speedway. I remember being nervous but excited to be able to race in the IndyCar Series. I was hoping to finish in the top 10 and was able to finish eighth so I was very happy with the result. Hopefully the Formula Dream team will be able to have a good weekend this week in order to win the Rookie of the Year award."

Raphael Matos, #27 AFS Racing/Andretti Green Racing Dallara/Firestone
"I think we are in an excellent position going into the final race of the season. We are three points ahead in the championship. It is going to be a tough weekend for us, but we tested there last weekend and showed that both Arie (Luyendyk Jr.) and I have the speed to qualify up front. Richard (Antinucci) and I have the same goal and it is going to be a very tough fight for the championship, but I am ready for the challenge."

Arie Luyendyk Jr., #26 Targus/AGR/AFS Dallara Firestone
"I'm looking forward to heading to Chicagoland. I've had some success there in the past and the team had a really good test there last week. The goal is to end the season on a high note and get that win we've been working hard toward all season for the Targus/AGR/AFS team."
