Martin Brundle to race son at Spa

15 maggio 2008

158 grand prix veteran and continuing resident of the formula one paddock, Martin Brundle, will return to competitive race action at the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit this weekend.

The 48-year-old British television commentator, whose former teams included Jordan and McLaren, has signed up to race his teenage son Alex in the Belgian round of the Formula Palmer-Audi series.

"It's a great circuit and a unique opportunity for me to race against my son," Brundle, whose last race was at Le Mans in 2001, said.

Alex Brundle, 17, currently lies fourth in the junior open-wheeler category.
