Cindi Lux (Aloha, Ore.) and Piloti (www.Piloti.com) announced today a partnership that names the Westlake Village, Calif.-based company the "Official Shoe Supplier of the No. 2 Team Mopar Dodge Viper Competition Coupe". Piloti, Italian for "racing driver", joins the Northwest-based team starting with the next round of the 2008 SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT season at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on July 19. The NayKid Racing team, led by team manager Fred Lux, will utilize Piloti's DTM style of shoe for its at-track wear for the remainder of the 2008 season. In the two SPEED GT races in which she has competed thus far, Lux has bettered her career-best Series finishes in both events. She opened the season at the Grand Prix of Long Beach (Calif.) finishing with a ninth-place result, at the time her best finish in the road car-based Series. In the next event, held at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, Lux finished fifth after racing near the front all day.
